After achieving a significant milestone in his dancing career performing in the 2018 music video ‘Made for Now’ for Janet Jackson and Daddy Yankee, Wendell Bullen, known as King Kayak, broadened his reach and established himself as a prominent background dancer. Bullen first gained recognition for his dynamic singing and dancing abilities by winning local talent competitions, which laid the foundation for his professional journey. He further honed his craft through a rigorous two-year, five-day-a-week free dance program at The Door on Broome Street in SoHo, where he mastered various dance styles and subsequently became an instructor within the program.
