Monique Jacqueline Williams-Jenkins, known under her ring name MJ Jenkins, is a singer, personal trainer and professional wrestler previously signed to the notorious WWE. MJ Jenkins was born in 1991 in Brooklyn, New York. Jenkins’ debut at professional wrestling was in October of 2015 where she faced Des DeMonae for EVOLVE 50. Her signature moves amongst the wrestling world are the body slams, the somersault neck breaker or even the missile dropkick amongst numerous others. Along her career she has fought under numerous organisations, including EVOLVE 50, Women’s Wrestling Revolution, Impact Wrestling and of course for WWE.
After attending an invitation-only try-out at the WWE Performance Center in Florida, Jenkins signed a contract and debuted in August 2018 losing her first match against Rhea Ripley in the first round. However, she subsequently teamed up with Jessie Elaban and Xia Brookside in a six-woman match earning her first victory the day after her defeat. Although 2020 was not an easy year for Jenkins, losing her brother-in-law and getting cut from the WWE roster (alongside 24 other wrestlers), she continuously stands out as a positive person with encouraging messages for all of us.
