Matt Barnett, or simply Barnett as he was known in reality series Love is Blind, is a former contestant on the first season of the viral TV show.

Barnett shot to fame when he was cast in the first season of brand new dating reality show, Love is Blind. In the hugely popular programme, single contestants enter specially designed pods and speak to potential partners without ever seeing them in person. They get to know different matches over a series of days, before proposing to them and meeting them in the flesh for the first time. The series ends with the contestants planning their weddings, in a test of compatibility over physical attraction. Barnett was a favourite among the female contestants right from the start, with three potential matches all vying for his attention. He eventually chose and proposed to Amber Pike, and viewers watched as their love grew over a series of dates, romantic getaways and a trial period of living together. The popular couple got married in the finale of the show, and have been together ever since, becoming a famous celebrity couple and speaking publicly about their experiences on the show.
