Matthew Croke is a West End actor and singer, recognized for his performances in prominent stage productions and his contributions to musical theatre. After gaining significant recognition for taking on the title role in the West End production of Disney’s Aladdin in 2017, Matthew Croke solidified his position as a prominent actor and singer within the competitive West End theatre scene. Croke’s extensive and versatile career trajectory on stage began with comprehensive training at the Maureen Law Theatre School, the Sharon Berry School of Dance, and Laine Theatre Arts College, equipping him with strong abilities in singing, dancing, and acting. He subsequently performed as Eddie in Funny Girl in 2015, showcasing his talent in a major production.

Croke’s commitment to live theatre is further exemplified by his long list of impactful stage credits where he has understudied and performed leading roles in acclaimed musicals. These include embodying Fiyero in Wicked, Eugene in Grease, Don Lockwood in Singin’ in the Rain, Hook in Peter Pan, Prince Charming in Cinderella, Larry in A Chorus Line, and Zeke in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. This diverse portfolio underscores his adaptability and sustained demand as a performer across a spectrum of beloved theatrical productions. Expanding his artistic endeavors beyond the stage, Croke released his debut solo album, Only Dreaming, in late 2014.

Further demonstrating his dedication to the performing arts, Croke also co-directs the RMC Academy of Theatre Performance alongside Rachel Croke, where he actively contributes to nurturing the next generation of performers.
