Max Homa

Open and was selected to the 2013 Walker Cup squad before turning professional that year. His early professional career saw him finish tied for ninth at the Frys.com Open in October 2013, his inaugural PGA Tour event. Homa then secured his first professional victory at the Web.com Tour’s BMW Charity Pro-Am in May 2014, which directly led to him earning his PGA Tour card for the 2014–15 season. Homa achieved his breakthrough PGA Tour victory at the Wells Fargo Championship in May 2019.

He continued this momentum, securing his second PGA Tour win at the Genesis Invitational in February 2021, triumphing over Tony Finau in a playoff. Further successes followed rapidly with his third PGA Tour title at the Fortinet Championship in September 2021, which he successfully defended in September 2022. He also claimed his second Wells Fargo Championship title in May 2022, marking his fifth career PGA Tour victory. By January 2023, Homa added another significant triumph to his resume with a victory at the Farmers Insurance Open, bringing his PGA Tour win count to six.
