Meghan Klingenberg

Graduating with a degree in Business Administration with an entrepreneurship concentration, Klingenberg was selected in the first round of the WPS draft in 2011, playing for the Washington Freedom, magicJack, and the Boston Breakers. She then joined the Western New York Flash, winning the 2012 Women’s Premier Soccer League Elite. Klingenberg’s international club experience included playing for Tyresö FF in Sweden from 2012 to 2013, where she secured a Damallsvenskan title in 2012. Returning to the NWSL, Klingenberg joined the Houston Dash in 2014 before moving to the Portland Thorns FC in 2016, where she played until 2024.

This commitment to empowerment extended into her entrepreneurial endeavors, as she co-founded Re-inc, a gender-neutral lifestyle brand, in 2019. Co-founded alongside former teammates Tobin Heath, Christen Press, and Megan Rapinoe, Re-inc further solidified Klingenberg’s influence in both business and culture. With her playing career with the Portland Thorns FC concluding in 2024, Klingenberg continues to leverage her exceptional leadership and determination from the field into shaping impactful ventures and championing athlete welfare, marking her transition as a formidable presence in the business and advocacy landscape.
