Cultivating a stand out career in film and television is no mean feat. Since his debut in the early nineties, Michael Trucco has captivated audiences with his memorable performances. Throughout his sensational career, Trucco has given life to some of the most recognisable and well-loved characters in the industry. From his days on “Battlestar Gallactica” to starring in a “How I Met Your Mother” and a collection of short films, Trucco has become a worldwide fan favourite. Before Trucco caught the acting bug he was a criminal justice major at the University of Santa Clara. In a brave move, Trucco would make the choice of a lifetime that would launch his meteoric career.

Earning the role of Samuel T. Anders on the critically acclaimed Sci-Fi series “Battlestar Galactica,” Trucco became a pop culture icon. Although a monumental role, Trucco has lead a varied and versatile career. From appearing on the ABC hit television show “Castle” as Detective Tom Demming to the comedy series “Disjointed” as Tae Kwon Doug, Trucco has shaped a lasting legacy on our screens. With other credits including “Grandfathered,” “Fairly Legal” and “The Rookie,” Trucco continues to develop in his craft.

Behind the camera, Trucco directed one of the episodes for the esteemed Naval drama “Pensacola” Wings of Gold.” The experience helped to form Trucco’s own style and still effects his performance dynamic to this day. An integral cast member and standalone actor, Trucco is an inspiring role model for up and coming artists. With an array of exciting projects on the horizon, including the horror-mystery “Midnight Mass” and the Sci-Fi feature film “The Last Transport,” Trucco will be entertaining audiences for years to come.
