Mike Vick is an Football quarterback who impressed from an early age at both Ferguson High School and Warwick High School. As part of the Warwick Raiders, Vick passed for 4,846 yards with 43 touchdowns – as a senior, passing for 1,668 years and accounting for 10 passing and as many rushing touchdowns. Vicks success saw him being picked for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL Draft. During his six years with the Falcons, Vick was praised for having transformed the quarterback position with his fast rushing abilities, and as a result was named to three Pro Bowls. Vick had the impressive achievement of being the first NFL quarterback to rush for 1,000 yeards in a season, holding the record for the most career rushing yards by a quarterback.
Vick then went on to sigh with the Eagles, where he would enjoy his greatest statistical season of his career – being named to a fourth Pro Bowl in 2010. Vick has also played for the New York Jets and Pitssburgh Steelers, and has worked as a coach. Vick has partnered with huge brands such as Nike, EA Sports, Coca-Cola, Powerade, Kraft, Hasbro and has created charitable foundations such as the Michael Vick Foundation and The Vick Foundation. The nonprofit organisation raised money to support at-risk youth with after-school programs in the Metro Atlanta and Hampton Roads areas, with Vick himself donating to causes such as the Caring Fund for Victims of the Virginia Tech Tragedy, a cause close to Vick’s heart.
