Misha Rosenbach received his A.B. in Molecular Biology, magna cum laude, from Princeton University in 2000. He then pursued his medical degree, earning his M.D. from Cornell University Weill Medical College in 2004. Following medical school, Dr. Rosenbach completed his residency training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in Dermatology. His academic and clinical career has since progressed within the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Dermatology, where his contributions have been consistently recognized.
Dr. Rosenbach holds multiple leadership positions at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently the Paul R. Gross Professor of Dermatology, and he founded and directs the Cutaneous Sarcoidosis Clinic, which is recognized by WASOG and FSR Centers of Excellence. He also directs the Complex Medical Dermatology post-residency Instructorship (MedDerm Fellowship) and serves as the Program Director for the Dermatology Residency Training Program. In addition to these roles, Dr. Rosenbach is the Vice Chair of Education and Training for the Department of Dermatology.
His expertise encompasses a range of complex dermatological conditions, including granulomatous diseases, neutrophilic diseases, and drug reactions. Dr. Rosenbach has been consistently recognized for his contributions, being named a Philadelphia Magazine Top Doctor annually from 2018 through 2025. He is also a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2017. His research focuses on topics such as climate change and dermatology, the environmental impact of dermatology, and the treatment of conditions like granuloma annulare, with numerous selected publications in peer-reviewed journals.
