Actress, TV presenter and celebrity chef Nadia Sawalha is known for her role in EastEnders as well as being a long running panellist on Loose Women.
Sawalha’s career started out as an actress in television, starring in EastEnders for two years as well as Casualty, The Bill and Which Way to the War. After leaving EastEnders she joined the panel on Loose Women, a show she would later return to 10 years later in 2013. Her long list of presenting credits include shows such as City Hospital, Mirror Signal Manoeuvre, Passport to the Sun, Heir Hunters, Wanted Down Under and Accidents Can Happen. By the mid noughties, Sawalha was a household name across the UK, being well known as a relatable and informative presenter. He reputation was cemented as one of the most well loved faces in British television when she won the 2007 series of Celebrity MasterChef. She has since gone on to present and appear on several other cooking shows such as Instant Restaurant, Eating in the Sun and Saturday Cookbook. She is also a resident chef on Lorraine and has presented her own cooking show, Nadia’s Family Feasts. Sawalha has also released several diet and cookery books.
Most recently, Sawalha has launched podcasts with her husband including How to Stay Married (So Far) and Confessions of a Modern Parent. She continues to be a panellist on Loose Women and is one of the nation’s best loved presenters.
