The towering sportsman Nassir Little is a professional basketball small forward, who plays for the Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA. He had a hugely successful youth career prior to turning pro, being named McDonald’s All American, McDonald’s All-American Game MVP, Jordan Brand Classic, and Jordan Brand Classic MVP all in 2018 while still at High School. He also founded the non-profit Nassir S. Little Youth Foundation to support youth who are in need of financial assistance in honing their talents in areas of education, sports, performing and visual arts.
Born and raised in Pensacola, Florida, Little played basketball throughout his High School years, playing his freshman and sophomore seasons at Oakleaf High before transferring to Orlando Christian Prep for his junior and senior years. He led Orlando to back-to-back Florida State titles. By the time he was due to leave for college he was being ranked the second-best high school prospect of 2018 by Rivals. He committed to the University of North Carolina where he continued to shine on the basketball court, and at the end of his freshman year he opted to forgo his collegiate eligibility and declare for the 2019 NBA draft. In June 2019 he was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 25th overall pick.
