Nassir Little

Nassir Little is a professional basketball player who has made a global impact, transitioning from stellar high school and college careers to the NBA and international leagues. After being named MVP of both the McDonald’s All-American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic in 2018—scoring 28 points at the McDonald’s event and becoming only the second player alongside LeBron James to achieve this dual honor—Nassir Little continued to build on a formidable high school career. He led Orlando Christian Prep to consecutive Florida state championships during his junior and senior years (2016-2018), having previously played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Oakleaf High School. Little was recognized as a top prospect, ranked as the second-best high school player of 2018 by Rivals, before committing to the University of North Carolina and joining the Tar Heels in 2017.

His tenure was further solidified when he signed a four-year, $28 million contract extension with the team in October 2022, underscoring his value to the franchise. In September 2023, Little was part of a significant three-team deal, traded to the Phoenix Suns alongside Damian Lillard and Jrue Holiday. After one season with the Suns, he was waived in August 2024. Subsequently, he signed with the Miami Heat in September 2024 before transitioning to a impactful stint with the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the NBA G League, where he averaged 16.7 points and 6.3 rebounds across 32 appearances.

Expanding his reach globally, Little signed with the Chiba Jets of the Japanese B.League in July 2025. This move marked a significant international chapter in his professional basketball journey, showcasing his versatility and commitment to high-level competition on a worldwide stage.
