Natalie Alyn Lind began her career remarkably early, auditioning at just 5 years old for what became her television debut: a 2006 episode of “One Tree Hill,” the series that featured her mother, actress Barbara Alyn Woods. The oldest daughter of Woods and producer John Lind, she grew up surrounded by the industry, with younger sisters Emily and Alyvia also pursuing acting. Early guest roles on “Army Wives,” “iCarly,” “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “Criminal Minds,” and “Flashpoint” built the foundation for what would become a steady climb through television.
Her breakthrough came through two memorable recurring roles: Dana Caldwell on ABC’s sitcom “The Goldbergs” and Silver St. Cloud in season two of the DC Comics series “Gotham,” which debuted on September 21, 2015. In 2017, Lind landed her first major lead as mutant Lauren Strucker in Fox’s X-Men-derived series “The Gifted,” running two seasons until 2019. She followed with a starring turn as Ashley in season two of CBS All Access’ “Tell Me a Story,” then played kidnapping victim Danielle Sullivan in the first season of ABC’s “Big Sky” (2020–2021).
Lind’s film work spans horror and romance, including “Mockingbird,” “Pet Sematary: Bloodlines” (2023), and the Nick Cassavetes-directed adaptation “Marked Men: Rule + Shaw” (2025). Most recently, she stars as Oreana Lynn Jackson in Paramount+’s “Dutton Ranch” (2026), while expanding behind the camera through her own company, Big Bad Pig Productions.
