Olympian Nicolas Fink is an American swimmer who specializes in breaststroke. Fink made headlines in 2021 at the Short Course World Championships when he racked up an impressive medal haul including three gold medals, two silver and a bronze. Fink captured the gold medal in both the 200 and 50 breast as well as finishing third in the 100 breast. The American swimming ace also helped Team USA win the gold medal in the 200 medley relay and silver medals in the 200 and 400 mixed medley relays. Fink finished 5th in the 200 meter final at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Fink hails from Morristown, New Jersey and went to The Pingry School before competing for the Georgia Bulldogs of the University of Georgia, where he enjoyed a standout college career. Fink finished second in the 100 breaststroke and third in the 200 breaststroke at the NCAA Championships in his junior year.
In 2022 the sensational swimmer bagged his first ever LCM world medal when he won bronze in the 100m breast at the 2020 World Championships held in Budapest. He then went on to become the first American man to win gold in the 50 breast when he out-touched Italy’s Martinenghi in a new American record-time of 26.45. Later in the session, he made it double gold after helping USA dominate in the 4- mixed medley relay.
