Nika Kljun is a celebrated choreographer, dancer, and international dance educator, renowned for her dynamic contributions to the dance industry. Hailing from Ljubljana, Slovenia, she began her journey in dance at a young age, training in various styles including jazz, ballet, hip hop, and ballroom. Her early achievements include becoming a World Champion in hip hop solo at just 17, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication.
Upon relocating to Los Angeles in 2010, Nika’s career flourished as she collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Justin Bieber. Her performances have graced prestigious events such as the MTV Video Music Awards and the American Music Awards, where her vibrant energy and artistry captivated audiences. Nika’s versatility as a dancer has made her a sought-after performer in high-profile television shows like “America’s Got Talent” and “Dancing with the Stars.”
In addition to her performance accolades, Nika has made significant strides as a choreographer. She choreographed for Britney Spears’ Las Vegas Residency, “Domination,” and contributed to the 2018 FIFA World Cup Closing Ceremony. Her innovative choreography has also been featured on major platforms, including “The Ellen Show” and “So You Think You Can Dance,” further solidifying her reputation in the industry.
Nika is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience with aspiring dancers worldwide. As a faculty member at Millennium Dance Complex and a director of her own dance intensive, “Viva La Nika,” she inspires countless students each month.
