Nova Miller is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose career began at a young age and has expanded to include acting and anti-bullying advocacy. After being discovered by British music executive Lolene Rothenberg at a Stockholm dance school in 2014, Nova Miller signed with 21:12 Entertainment and Universal Music in 2015. She released her debut single, ‘Supernova,’ on June 12, 2015, which addressed personal experiences with bullying and quickly reached Spotify’s viral chart. Miller continued to build her music catalog with the Christmas single ‘My Perfect Christmas’ in 2015, which was ranked among the top Christmas songs by the Swedish newspaper Expressen.
A committed advocate, she also served as an ambassador for Reach for Change, a Swedish non-profit dedicated to anti-bullying initiatives, using her platform to encourage young fans and raise awareness. Her work was recognized with a nomination for ‘Pop Song of the Year’ at the Scandipop Awards in 2019 for ‘Turn Up The Fire.’ Following her move to Los Angeles in 2019 to further her career, Miller released singles ‘Do It To Myself’ (2019), ‘Mi Amor’ (2020), and ‘Girls Like Us’ (2020). In 2020, she released her second EP, ‘The Passion,’ which included tracks such as ‘Red Dress’ and ‘Only When It Snows.’ Continuing her prolific output, 2021 saw the release of ‘Apricot Skies’ featuring Bankrol Hayden and the single ‘Done.’ By 2022, Miller continued to evolve her artistry, releasing the singles ‘Cold Feet’ and ‘Venus,’ alongside her third EP, ‘Sting.’ This period also marked her professional transition, as she began releasing music under the name Fanny Avonne. As Fanny Avonne, she has continued to expand her discography, with ‘Tusen spänn’ featuring Tjuvjakt and ‘Ringar på vatten’ both slated for release in 2025, further showcasing her ongoing musical journey and diverse collaborations.
