Oleksandr Usyk

Oleksandr Usyk is a distinguished professional boxer, an undisputed champion in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, whose journey from Olympic gold medalist to global sports icon has captivated audiences and brands worldwide. After securing Gold Medals at both the 2011 World Championships and the 2012 London Olympics in the heavyweight division, Oleksandr Usyk went on to establish one of boxing’s most dominant professional careers, culminating in undisputed championships across two weight classes. His amateur journey also included a bronze medal at the 2006 European Championships, a gold medal at the 2008 European Championships as a light-heavyweight, and an impressive record of 335 wins and 15 losses. Between 2012 and 2013, he competed successfully in the World Series of Boxing, winning all six of his bouts.

Usyk turned professional in November 2013, making his debut by defeating Felipe Romero via fifth-round knockout. Usyk’s ascent through the cruiserweight division was swift. He secured his first professional title, the interim WBO Inter-Continental cruiserweight title, in October 2014. After multiple successful defenses, he challenged Krzysztof G?owacki for the WBO cruiserweight title in September 2016, winning by unanimous decision.

He further solidified his status in December 2024 by defeating Tyson Fury again, retaining the WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight titles. In July 2025, Usyk is slated to retain these titles and win the IBF heavyweight title in a rematch against Daniel Dubois, further cementing his legacy as a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion.
