Paul Pogba was born on March 15, 1993, in Lagny-sur-Marne, Seine-et-Marne, France. He began his football journey at six years old with US Roissy-en-Brie, progressing through US Torcy and Le Havre’s youth teams. In 2009, he joined the Manchester United youth academy. After limited senior team appearances in Manchester, he moved to Juventus in 2012 on a free transfer. During his initial stint with Juventus, Pogba became a key player, winning four consecutive Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia titles, and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. His impressive performances in Italy, including reaching the 2015 Champions League final, earned him individual accolades such as the Golden Boy award in 2013 and the Bravo Award in 2014, solidifying his reputation as a promising young talent.
In 2016, Pogba returned to Manchester United for a world-record transfer fee of €105 million. In his first season back, he helped the club win the League Cup and the Europa League. He continued to be a central figure, earning a spot in the PFA Team of the Year in the 2018–19 season. Internationally, Pogba captained France to victory in the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where he was named the tournament’s Best Player. He debuted for the senior national team a year later, participating in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and being named its Best Young Player. His career highlight includes winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France, scoring in the final.
