Peter Løvenkrands is a distinguished Danish football manager and former professional player, renowned for his dynamic playing style and impressive career across multiple leagues. He began his professional journey at Akademisk Boldklub, where he made a significant impact by contributing to the team’s victory in the 1999 Danish Cup. His talent quickly caught the attention of Scottish giants Rangers, where he enjoyed a successful six-year tenure, scoring 54 goals in 182 appearances and winning two Scottish Premier League titles. Løvenkrands became a fan favorite, particularly noted for his crucial last-minute winner against Celtic in the 2002 Scottish Cup Final.
In 2006, Løvenkrands transitioned to Schalke 04 in Germany, where he initially thrived, contributing six goals and four assists in his first season.
