Pierre Gasly
Petrolhead Pierre Gasly is a professional racing driving, currently competing on the Formula 1 circuit, racing for Scuderia AlphaTauri. Known as The Comeback Kid, he is Scuderia AlphaTauri’s all-time top point scorer, and a firm fan-favourite after winning the 2020 Italian Grand Prix.
Born and raised in Rouen, France to a racing family, Gasly began racing go-karts when he was six-years-old, and started competing the following year. From 2006-2010 he competed at national and international levels, finally finishing as runner-up in the CIK-FIA European Championship. From 2010 he gradually moved up the racing classes, and by 2012 he was racing in Formula Renault 2.0. He clinched the title in 2013, becoming the youngest driver to ever win the Formula Renault. GP2 was the next true marker when he became the 2016 GP2 Series Champion with four wins. He made his Formula 1 debut with Toro Rosso at the 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix, and three years later he won the 2020 Italian Grand Prix driving for Alpha Tauri.
