Pierre XO

Pierre Tran, known professionally as Pierre XO, was born in Los Angeles, California. His artistic endeavors encompass a wide range of mediums, including music, painting, dance, performance, and modeling, positioning him as a multifaceted artist. He is also active as a content creator, maintaining a presence on platforms like YouTube where he addresses topics such as mental health issues and online dating.

Pierre XO began his music career with the release of his single “Disappear” in March 2017, followed by a music video for the track in May of the same year. This initial release was succeeded by an EP titled “Pierre Xo” in 2017, which included tracks like “Arise” and “Idle Dreams.” His musical style is characterized by influences from 80s dark wave, shoegaze-distorted guitar, and electro-pop production. He cites artists such as The Cure, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Crystal Castles, Phantogram, The Killers, and Interpol as influences.

In 2018, Pierre XO released the “Rose&Thorn” single, and in 2019, he released the album “Tomorrow Is Today,” featuring songs like “Sunrise,” “You Are Not Alone,” and “Attention.” He continued to release singles, including “Not Alone” in 2021, “Sun Keep Shining” in 2022, “Sorry To Say” in 2023, and “Ride” in 2024, demonstrating consistent musical output. In addition to his music, Pierre XO relocated to Europe in the summer of 2018, a move he discussed in a YouTube video. He also engages in collaborations with other artists, such as “Red Blazer (feat. LIL CLiMP)” in 2021.
