Quincy Taylor Brown, known professionally as Quincy, was born on June 4, 1991, in New York City. Raised in Columbus, Georgia, and later Los Angeles, he is the son of Kim Porter and Al B. Sure!, and was later adopted by Sean “Diddy” Combs. Quincy embarked on his acting career with a debut in the 2012 film “We the Party.” He gained further recognition for his role as Jaleel in the 2015 Cannes and Sundance Film Festival entry “Dope,” followed by a significant role in the 2015 film “Brotherly Love.” His television career includes a recurring role as Daylon in “The Haves and the Have Nots” in 2016 and a main cast role as Derek Jones in Lee Daniels’ FOX series “Star” from 2016 to 2019. More recently, he featured as Crown Camacho in the “Power” prequel series, “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” from 2021 to 2022, and is set to appear as Prince in “The Family Business: New Orleans” in 2025.
