Rachel Fay Kanevsky is a social media star who has amassed over 1.6 million followers on her TikTok account, faythegay. She began the account in July 2019 and has since posted videos covering topics such as comedy, makeup, and advocacy, though she is probably best known for her impressions of the Magic School Bus character Miss Frizzle.

Miss. Frizzle is the main character of The Magic School Bus series, and is also known as Professor Valerie Felicity Frizzle, PhD, and “The Friz.” She is an eccentric teacher at Walkerville Elementary School, where she teaches the children about various scientific principles by employing a wide range of peculiar magic tricks. The most noteworthy of these is her enchanted school bus, which can transform into a variety of other vehicles and sometimes acts as if it has a mind of its own. Both the original series and the reboot have Lily Tomlin voicing the role of Miss. Frizzle.

Kanevsky uses they and she as her pronouns. She is a service dog handler who is disabled and suffers from chronic illness. Dr. Inna Glaz Kanevsky, her mother, has made an appearance on her daughter’s faythefae Instagram account, and she also posts on her own Dr. Inna TikTok account. Kanevsky’s service dog Juniper is a blue heeler, and acts as a medical alert and response dog for vasovagal syncope. In June 2020, Kanevsky shared a TikTok performance featuring Noah Schnacky.
