Raghav Juyal

Born on July 10, 1991, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Raghav Juyal gained prominence as a contestant on Zee TV’s dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance Season 3’ in 2012. Despite not being professionally trained, his distinctive slow-motion dance style, earning him the moniker ‘King of Slow Motion’ and ‘Crockroaxz’, captured widespread attention. He initially did not secure a spot in the Top 18 but was brought back due to public demand as Grand Master Mithun Chakraborty’s ‘trump card’. Juyal progressed to become a finalist, achieving a second runner-up position with over 3.4 million votes, demonstrating his significant audience appeal. His unique approach and self-taught skills set a new standard in Indian dance reality television.

Following his success on ‘Dance India Dance’, Juyal transitioned into a skipper for ‘DID Li’l Masters 2’ and captained the winning team ‘Yahoo’ on ‘Dance Ke Superkids’. In 2014, he made his acting debut in the Bollywood film ‘Sonali Cable’, where his performance was positively noted by critics, who praised his vivacious screen presence. He continued his acting career with roles in dance films such as ‘ABCD 2’ (2015) alongside Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, and ‘Street Dancer 3D’ (2020). Juyal also established himself as a prominent television host, leading multiple seasons of ‘Dance Plus’ (Seasons 1-6) and co-hosting shows like ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Dance Champions’.

He notably took on a negative role in the Zee5 series ‘Abhay 2’ (2020) and a lead role in the satirical comedy ‘Bahut Hua Sammaan’ (2020). His recent work includes films like ‘Kill’ (2023) and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ (2023), and upcoming projects such as ‘Yudhra’ (2024), ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ (2025), and ‘King’ (2026). His diverse portfolio highlights his adaptability and growth from a dance sensation to a respected actor and host in the Indian entertainment industry, including an International Indian Film Academy Award (IIFA) in 2025 for Best Performance in a Negative Role.
