Ramona Singer is an American reality television star, author and entrepreneur best known for her role on Bravo’s world-recognised show The Real Housewives of New York City.
Born and raised in upstate New York, Singer first moved to New York City as a young adult to pursue her dream of working in fashion. The soon-to-be starlet studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology, from which she graduated with a BS in Marketing. She was soon working at Macy’s, starting her career on its exclusive training program, before going on to become a buyer. Singer ultimately went on to launch her own wholesale business after honing her skills at major retailers such as Calvin Klein and French Connection.
In 2008, Singer joined the cast of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City. A member of the original cast, Singer has appeared in over 200 episodes in the show’s 12-season run. When not on-screen, Singer concentrates on her many business ventures. These include her anti-ageing skincare serum, named Ageless by Ramona, and a line of wines. In 2015, Singer released her memoir, entitled Life on the Ramona Coaster. Candid and entertaining, the book proved a hit among fans and explored her dysfunctional childhood and rise to success. Never one to settle for a boring life, Singer announced in December 2020 that she was training to become a real estate broker.
