Randy Duane Couture is a great American fighter and ex- U.S. army soldier who is now an actor, TV personality and business owner. He was born in 1963 in Everett, Washington U.S.A. He graduated from Oklahoma State University where he studied foreign language literature. Couture had a very successful amateur-wrestling career. He wrestled at university and was Pan American Games Champion, In the 1997 World Championship in Poland he was 8th, he achieved World Team Member spots, In Greco-Roman he was four times National Champion.
He was involved with the U.S. Olympic wrestling team. He moved into mixed martial arts with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which features some of the top fighters in the sport. He is said to be one of the greatest MMA fighters in the world holding championship titles in two different weight divisions – Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight.
Couture moved on from his fighting career to work in films. He has been an actor in The Expendables a popular action film series, Ambushed and The Scorpion King 2. He owns a chain of gyms Xtreme Couture MMA and a fashion range Xtreme Couture Clothing. He also works to raise awareness and funding for injured veterans with Xtreme Couture GI Foundation.
