Jamie-Lee Price

Jamie-Lee Price, born on January 10, 1996, in Sydney, NSW, began her netball career early, being picked to play professionally at the age of 16. Her junior club was the Camden Netball Association. Price moved to Auckland, New Zealand, at age eight, where she attended Mount Albert Grammar School and captained their netball team. In 2013, she joined the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic in the ANZ Championship, becoming one of the youngest players in the trans-Tasman championship. Her professional career continued with Giants Netball in the Suncorp Super Netball league from 2017 to 2025, where she established herself as a top defensive midcourter.

Price made her National Debut in 2018, playing 53 test caps for the Australian Diamonds. She was named in the 2018/19 squad and has remained a consistent presence in the national team from 2021 to the present. A significant milestone in her career includes winning a Gold medal at the 2023 Netball World Cup with the Australian Diamonds in Cape Town. She also earned a Silver medal at the 2019 Netball World Cup in Liverpool. Price’s elite fitness and ability to play multiple positions distinguish her on the court. In 2026, she will join the Melbourne Mavericks, a move driven by personal considerations and a desire for new challenges.

Throughout her career, Price has consistently participated in high-level competitions, including the Constellation Cup, Suncorp Super Netball, England Series, Netball Nations Cup, South Africa Series, and Quad Series, demonstrating her enduring commitment and skill in netball. Her move to Melbourne Mavericks and focus on a potential Commonwealth Games spot in 2026 reflect her ongoing dedication to personal and professional growth.
