Riccardo Cocchi, a ten-time World Latin Dance Champion, established his formidable career trajectory by forming a significant partnership with Joanne Wilkinson from Australia in 1998. This decade-long collaboration, lasting until 2007, saw Cocchi secure numerous prestigious titles. Together, they were crowned two-time World Amateur Latin Champions and ten-time Italian Amateur Champions. Their success extended to the professional circuit, earning them Professional Italian Latin Champion recognition and making them consistent Professional Grand Finalists at the highly competitive UK, British, and World Championships.

The pair also garnered multiple victories at the U.S. Open (2008-2014), WDC Fred Astaire Cup Competition (2008-2011, 2013-2018), and Dutch Open (2008-2018), alongside various Asian Open Championships across Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Macao between 2010 and 2018.
