Former professional darts player Richie Burnett was a 1995 World Champion and so is very much an icon of the game. He is now available for a range of public appearances and brand ambassadorial roles and for his great prowess with the arrow was nicknamed The Prince of Wales. He played the game from 1983 until November 2014 and played right handed, picking up the 1995 Embassy World Darts Championship made him a real star of the game and also had many other wins throughout the 90s and early naughties. It was after the famous split in the game of darts where 16 professionals broke off to form their own league that Burnett first rose to fame. He won many titles in the BDO in 1994 including the Dutch Open and Welsh Open. He also added fortress major titles and then got to the world championship finals on a couple of occasions. It was in 1999 that he then switched to play in the PDC circuit and with this league he appeared on TV a number of times. After battling back from poor form and taking break in the game, Richie managed to regain a great reputation and played in various world championships. He was a largely consistent player on the darts scene and is now just as talented and able when it comes to after dinner speeches, exhibition matches and more besides. Should you be planning any sporting event or occasion that requires a darts professional then Richie Burnett is right for you.
