For Ricky Forbes, exploring is a true passion, even if it means getting dirty, risking some skin, and pushing the limits, it’s all worth it to him. His life is now dedicated to pursuing adventures and living life to the fullest; from sky diving to snowboarding, ice climbing to chasing tornadoes. Over the past 4 seasons as a Professional Storm Chaser, Ricky has journeyed over 300,000kilometres, crossed 4 provinces, and 26 states catching over 85 tornadoes. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada – originally heading into finance with his Bachelors of Commerce degree with a major in Finance, Ricky now directs his passion towards giving back to his community through many facets including his role as a Big Brother and helping to raise weather safety awareness to kids.

A natural public speaker, Ricky has been involved in many media engagements and has created a dynamic presentation for school-aged children on the subject of severe weather in an aim to help them prepare if they ever find themselves trapped in a sticky situation.
