Rodrygo Silva de Goes was born on January 9, 2001, in Osasco, Brazil. He began his football career in 2011, joining Santos FC’s youth setup at the age of ten, initially playing for their futsal team. His talent was recognized early, leading to him signing his first professional contract with Santos in July 2017. He made his senior debut for Santos in November 2017, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history to appear in the Copa Libertadores in March 2018.
