Rosa Blasi is an acting dynamo, and this Chicago native has an incredible track record over the course of her career- not only has she performed in more the forty separate professional productions, she has appeared in over 275 episodes of television and featured in the creepy Sony blockbuster The Grudge. From comedy performances at the acclaimed Piven Performance Company to appearing at the Second City Chicago Conservatory, Blasi has trodden the boards from one side of the nation to the other, even completing a tour as a singer with the incredible Kenny Rogers.
Blasi is the definition of multitalented, as this classically trained mezzo soprano also speaks fluent Italian and has voiced countless characters or voiceovers for a wide array of series, even popping up on American Dad. She’s also written articles for the Huffington Post, performed stand up comedy at The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory in LA, co-hosted The Chick Show podcast with Lisa Ann Walter from 2017 to 2018, and in what little downtime she had, Blasi wrote a comedic memoir called Jock Itch: Misadventures Of A Retired Jersey Chaser, which was picked up and published by Harper Collins in 2011.
Fans can spot Blasi on many shows, but she is best known for her six years as Lu Delgado on the fantastic medical drama Strong Medicine, as Ronnie on Make It Or Break It, and most recently as Barb Thunderman on Nickelodeons The Thundermans.
