Actress and comedian Rose Abdoo is best known for her recurring role as Gypsy in the hit series Gilmore Girls. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Abdoo began her career on the Chicago improv scene. She performed at celebrated theatres such as the Improv Institute and The Second City, among others. She also created the successful one woman shows Who Does She Think She Is? and Get to the Part About Me.
Growing in popularity, she became a memorable name in the business, collaborating with the likes of Bob Odenkirk and Conan O’Brien. As an actress, Abdoo has appeared in countless hit TV series and films. Her most memorable appearance as Gypsy on Gilmore Girls saw her stay on the show from 2002 to 2007, as well as coming back in the 2016 Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. She is also celebrated for her role in That’s So Raven from 2003 to 2006. A well-respected figure in the industry, she has also starred in Curb Your Enthusiasm, Malcolm in the Middle, Wizards of Waverly Place, Pretty Little Liars, Castle, Greys Anatomy and Criminal Minds, among a flurry of other award-winning shows and films. She most recently starred in Saved by the Bell and the TV show Madagascar: A Little Wild.
