Ross Mullan is an actor and puppeteer known for his diverse roles across film, television, and theatre, including notable characters in ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Doctor Who’. After an acclaimed theatrical career that included touring nationally and internationally in productions such as ‘East of Eden’, ‘David Copperfield’, ‘Christmas Carol’, and ‘Sherlock Holmes’, Ross Mullan achieved sold-out performances in New York City by bringing the play ‘Thick’ from the Edinburgh Festival. His early stage work also featured an acclaimed portrayal of Orsino in Bath Theatre Royal’s production of ‘Twelfth Night’ and the title role in ‘The Selfish Giant’ for Leicester Haymarket Theatre, showcasing his versatility in mask and physical theatre. Mullan is also an accomplished puppeteer and voice-over artist, having trained with Jim Henson’s company.
Beyond his performance work, Mullan shares his extensive expertise by teaching animation at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, a role he has held since 2018, underscoring his ongoing commitment to the arts and education.
