Actress, dancer and rising star Sage Linder first rose to prominence after playing Summer in the hugely popular TV series The Next Step. Her other television appearances include CW’s Riverdale, Disney’s Descendants 3, Motherland: Fort Salem, Colony, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Nancy Drew and Harlen Coben’s Shelter. In 2021 she made her movie debut working on two films for V.C Andrews’ Ruby series as a supporting lead. As a dancer she has appeared in Imaginary Mary (Pico Productions) and Cinderella Story: A Christmas Wish (Netflix), and toured internationally with the cast of The Next Step and Live Nation.
Hailing from beautiful Vancouver, Canada, Sage kicked off her entertainment career at an early age, attending the SpArts Program for Gifted Kids and the Professional Program at Porier Productions Dance Studio where she trained in many dance styles including jazz, ballet, musical theatre and hip hop. In 2016 she made her first stadium performance as a dancer appearing with pop legend Janet Jackson on her Unbreakable World Tour, dancing to the legendary track ‘Rhythm Nation’.
Linder got her next big break when she landed the lead role of Summer on seasons 6 and 7 of popular drama series The Next Step. Since then the multi-talented star has continued to land more and more roles on both television and film, and this up-and-coming star is undoubtedly one to watch for the future.
