Sam Kwasman is a seasoned actor and comedian. He went from being a professional dancer in movies like “Mame” with Lucille Ball to winning acting parts in stage musicals like “Hello Dolly” with Martha Raye, and “Music Man” with Van Johnson. Kwasman has also appeared in a slew of TV shows, including “Family Ties,” “Lou Grant,” “Airwolf,” “MADTV,” “Evening at the Improv,” “The Jerry Lewis Telethon” and “The Bob Newhart Show.” Kwasman has also appeared in a number of national commercials in the US, as well as performing voice overs for cartoons such as “Robot Chicken” with Seth Green.
At the age of just 19, Kwasman performed “live” as Donald Duck in the travelling arena performance “Disney on Parade,” and even advertised the concert on radio and television programmes like “What’s My Line?” He was the voice of Donald Duck at Disney Studios for 17 years, contributing to records, toys, and commercials. Over the years, Kwasman has performed stand-up comedy at the Comedy Store, the Riviera, Caesars Palace Lake Tahoe, the Aladdin Hotel, the Improv, Rodneys Place, the Ice House, and other venues across the US.
In 2017, Kwasman appeared at the Geffen Theater in the blockbuster stage play “Letters From A Nut,” written by Ted L. Nancy and produced by Jerry Seinfeld, and went on to appear in the movie adaptation of the same name, which is available on Amazon Prime. From 2014 to 2019, he was the voice of “Little Quacker” on the “Tom and Jerry Show,” and reprised the role for the series “Tom and Jerry in New York” in 2021.
