Scott Seaborn is an expert in digital transformation and a pioneer of the digital advertising industry. He is currently Associate Partner at consulting and technology firm Wipro Digital, and has formerly worked with companies including XS2, Ogilvy, Collinson and Aimia Inc. He is the recipient of over 40 international awards including five Cannes Lions.
Seaborn’s career in mobile advertising has spanned a period of vast and rapid change, from an industry in its infancy to one we all interact with dozens of times each day. From 2006, he was Head of Marketing Technologies at Magnet Harlequin Group, and then worked as Head of Mobile Technologies at Ogilvy.
He was later appointed Chief Product Officer at XS2 and then Global Product Strategy Director at Aimia, where his portfolio included the loyalty schemes of Nectar, Airmiles, Hallmark and Nordstrom. From 2008 to 2011, he also served as Co-Chairman of the Mobile Marketing Association responsible for Android, iPhone and GS1 standards in the UK. Today, as Associate Partner at Wipro, he helps businesses transform and capitalise on the power of technology.
Seaborn’s voluntary work includes serving on the board of trustees for D&AD, serving UNICEF’s Mobile 1st Transformation, and founding the community interest company SeedStory which works to use technology to address loneliness and isolation. Throughout his work, Seaborn looks at how businesses can adapt to change, how they can re-invent themselves for the digital era, and what technological innovations are forecast over the years and decades ahead.
