Sean Pettit has established himself as a prominent figure in freeskiing, transitioning from a childhood prodigy to an influential big mountain skier and film contributor. After signing with Red Bull at the age of 13, making him their youngest athlete at the time, Sean Pettit rapidly established himself as a prominent figure in freeskiing. This early recognition propelled him into the professional skiing circuit, where he quickly became known for his contributions to big mountain skiing and his advanced capabilities in challenging mountain environments. Pettit made a notable media appearance on The Today Show in 2008, showcasing his burgeoning talent to a broad audience.

His early filmography includes prominent segments in Matchstick Productions’ ‘Claim’ (2008) and ‘In Deep’ (2009), marking his impactful entry into ski cinema. Pettit continued to solidify his presence in the ski film industry, appearing in Matchstick Productions’ ‘The Way I See It’ (2010), ‘Attack of La Niña’ (2011), and ‘Superheroes of Stoke’ (2012). His film repertoire further expanded with roles in ‘Tracing Skylines’ (2013) and ‘The Masquerade’ (2015), consistently demonstrating his prowess in challenging terrain.
