Shelise Ann Sola was born on August 16, 1990, in a small country town in Utah, USA. She pursued her education in fashion design, relocating to Las Vegas at 18 to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology. Her studies included a semester abroad in London, England. Following her graduation, Sola moved to Los Angeles, a city that supports her varied creative interests, including costume design, writing, aerial silks, and salsa dancing. She is credited as Shelise Hufstetler in some of her early acting roles and costume department work.
Sola’s career initially involved significant work in costume design. For two years, she served as the Head Animal Costumer on Nick Jr.’s ‘Mutt & Stuff’ (2015-2016) for 16 episodes, and also worked as a puppet costumer for ‘Crank Yankers’ (2019-2020) for 11 episodes. Her acting career began to gain momentum, leading her to transition full-time into performing. She has appeared in over 18 commercials for various companies, including prominent brands such as Barbie, QDOBA, Tapatio, and Paw Patrol. Her theatrical work includes a lead role in a feature film shot in Alaska, as well as lead roles in marketing campaign short films for Universal Studios’ ‘Get Out’ and ‘Happy Death Day’ in collaboration with CryptTV. She also acted in ‘Ballet of Blood’ (2015) as Farrah, ‘Where Does the Maiden Lie?’ (2016) as The Maiden, and ‘What If I Defect?’ (2020) as Olivia.
