Showbiz Shelly, recipient of two Silver Dome Awards from the Illinois Broadcasters Association in 2009, has cultivated a distinguished career in radio broadcasting and entertainment reporting. She graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in 2007, where she headed the Arts and Entertainment division for the Northwestern News Network. Her professional journey began during her sophomore year of college as a promotions intern at B96 Radio. Over 13 years at WBBM-FM (B96), approximately from 2005 to 2018, she advanced through various roles, culminating in her position as a morning show host for the station.

In April 2018, Shelly joined iHeartMedia’s 103.5 KISS FM, a leading top-ranked station in Chicago. She assumed the pivotal role of Midday Host, broadcasting live on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily.

Her reporting career has taken her to Los Angeles to cover major industry events such as the Grammy Awards, various movie premieres, and the American Music Awards. Expanding her media footprint, she is a regular entertainment contributor for CBS and FOX, and has made notable appearances on NBC, ABC, and TMZ, solidifying her reach across national television platforms.
