Si Genaro is a British musician who is best known for his appearance on BBC’s The Voice UK in 2014 and 2015, as well as his prolific work developing up and coming artists – supporting musicians in their ambitions to hit success.
Genaro began his career as a percussionist, busking and eventually moving to Bournemouth to study at music college. From there, the talented musician fronted regional bands such as Shapeshifter, Dubheart and the titular The Genaro Project. Genaro has since gone on to support UK Chart Number One pop singer David Essex, as well as joining Ant Henson as a vocalist and guitarists of the post-rock band Ever The Animal, who are known for their kooky, psychedelic sound. Genaro has also supported Luke Concannon, of alternative duo Nizlopi, and is known for his energetic and magnetic stage presence.
Genaro is also known for his comedic stage presence, often writing joke songs on his Instagram to almost 13 thousand followers, as well as wishing his friends and fans happy birthday in song. Genaro has recently released song remixes of his iconic song When The Last Bird Flies to ITunes which has had much success, and has led to Genaro experimenting and working on new music constantly. Genaro’s song Chicken Train is still an internet hit, nearly 5 years after he entered The Voice contest, and it is his good hearted nature that makes him so uniquely special.
