Stasya Knight

Born in Siberia, Stasya Knight moved to Los Angeles with her parents at the age of seven. Her passion for acting developed from an early age, notably after experiencing ‘The Phantom of the Opera’. She pursued formal training and education in psychology, advertising, and public relations, but ultimately committed to a full-time acting career. Knight dedicated herself to honing her craft, studying with renowned teachers such as Ivana Chubbuck, Chris Holder, and Richard Brander, known for coaching actors like Kevin Costner and Milla Jovovich. Her early acting roles included local theater productions like ‘Wonder Women’ and ‘The King and I’.

Knight’s career progressed with roles in short films and television. She appeared in ‘The Unbelievable’ (2013), ‘Promise Ring’ (2009), ‘Tangential Lives’ (2013), and the TV series ‘The Bucket’ (2013). A significant turning point came with her casting as Hadley in ‘General Hospital’, her first television role, by Emmy Award-winning casting director Mark Teschner. In 2015, she starred as Symphony Furst, a comic-book inspired villain, in the Steampunk Western ‘Cowboys & Engines’, a role that garnered positive audience reviews and led to discussions of a potential television series adaptation. Her acting credits also include the 2018 film ‘Diminuendo’, where she played the character Grace.

Beyond acting, Knight has expanded her creative work to directing and producing. She directed and served as a series producer for ‘Mermaid Whispers ASMR’ (2017), a TV series for which all proceeds were donated to The Gentle Barn, an animal rescue organization in Santa Clarita, California. Knight also ventured into screenwriting and production with her short film ‘Savannah’, a psychological thriller inspired by personal experiences and the work of director David Lynch. This project, which she wrote and planned to produce, explores themes of self-discovery, identity, and unconditional self-love, aiming to convey a message about embracing one’s ‘dark side’ to achieve wholeness.
