Stephen Amell is a Canadian actor known for his leading role as Oliver Queen in the Arrowverse television franchise and a producer of the ‘Code 8’ film series. After receiving a Gemini Award in 2007 for his guest-starring role on ReGenesis, Stephen Amell went on to build a diverse portfolio of television appearances, earning him a nomination for another Gemini Award in the Best Ensemble Cast Category for Rent-a-Goalie that same year. Early in his career, Amell appeared in two episodes of the fourth season of Queer as Folk in 2004 as a spinning instructor and played Adam in the first season of the television series Dante’s Cove. He also held recurring roles in Da Kink in My Hair and Heartland before joining the cast of The Vampire Diaries as the werewolf Brady for its second season on December 3, 2010.
