Storm Norton

Storm Norton is a professional Football offensive tackle whose career spans multiple NFL teams and a successful stint in the XFL, providing a valued presence on the offensive line. After earning first-team All-Mid American Conference honors twice in 2015 and 2016 for the University of Toledo, Storm Norton played in 46 collegiate games, starting 28, showcasing his formidable presence on the offensive line. During his standout 2015 season, he was a key contributor to an offensive line that allowed a mere five sacks across 411 passing attempts, ranking second-lowest nationally, and propelled the Toledo offense to lead the MAC in rushing with 207.9 yards per game. Norton transitioned to professional football in 2017, initially signing with the Detroit Lions.

His early NFL career from 2017 to 2019 included stints with the Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals, and Minnesota Vikings, primarily on practice squads. A pivotal moment arrived in 2020 when he was selected as the first overall pick in the second phase of the XFL draft by the Los Angeles Wildcats. His exceptional performance in the league, though shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic, earned him recognition from Pro Football Focus as the highest-rated offensive lineman. This success directly led to his return to the NFL, signing with the Los Angeles Chargers in April 2020.

In 2023, Norton signed a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints, subsequently moving to the Atlanta Falcons, where he saw action in 14 games with three starts. His consistent contributions led to another re-signing by the Falcons for the upcoming 2025 season, underscoring his reliable presence and commitment to top-tier professional football.
