Strahinja Rašović

Strahinja Rašović was born on March 9, 1992, in Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia. He began his senior club career in water polo with VK Beograd, playing with the team until 2010. From 2010 to 2015, he played for Crvena Zvezda, where he contributed to the team winning the LEN Champions League in 2012–13 and the LEN Super Cup in 2013. During his time with Crvena Zvezda, the team also secured Serbian Championship titles in 2012–13 and 2013–14, and Serbian Cup victories in the same seasons.

He then moved to Atlètic-Barceloneta, playing for two seasons from 2015 to 2017. With Atlètic-Barceloneta, he won the Spanish Championship in both 2015–16 and 2016–17, as well as the Copa del Rey and Copa de Cataluña in those respective years. Following this, from 2017 to 2020, Rašović played for Egri. His career progression continued with a return to Serbian water polo, joining Radnički Kragujevac from 2020 to 2021. He helped Radnički Kragujevac win the Adriatic League and the Serbian Championship in 2020–21. He later played for Novi Beograd from 2021 to 2023, where the team was a two-time LEN Champions League runner-up and won the Adriatic League and Serbian Championship in 2021–22. Rašović re-joined Radnicki and then moved to Vasas in 2023.

Rašović has been a key member of the Serbian national water polo team. He earned gold medals at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024. His international achievements also include gold medals at the Summer Universiade in Shenzhen 2011 and Taipei 2017, and a bronze medal at the 2013 Kazan Summer Universiade. He was recognized as the Hungarian Championship Top Scorer in 2019–20 with Egri and the Serbian Championship Top Scorer in 2021–22 with Novi Beograd. He was also the World Championship Top Scorer in 2023 and earned a spot on the World Championship Team of the Tournament in both 2022 and 2023.
