Susan Yeagley is an actress who rose to prominence as Jessica Wicks on the hit comedy, Parks and Recreation, on NBC.
Although Yeagley starting working in TV and film during the late ‘90s, her first acting gig was back when she was eleven years old, appearing in Amy Grant’s music video for her single, “Angels Watching Over Me.” Fast forward to college, she graduated cum laude from the USC Film School and joining the Sunday Company: Groundlings Improv Group, a highly competitive sketch troupe. It was there where she was spotted by the casting director of Almost Famous starring Kate Hudson, and she landed a spot in the movie. That same year, she also appeared in the blockbuster hit, Coyote Ugly.
Later on, Yeagley made appearances all over major TV shows, such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, ER, Everybody Loves Raymond, Friends, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and The Sarah Silverman Program, to name a few. Before landing Parks and Rec, she played two recurring roles: Simona Redford on Eddie & Jeff, as well as Tracy on the CBS sitcom, Rules of Engagement.
Most recently, Yeagley played the adult version of the character Boogie Carver in the animated film Action Point, and she portrayed Laci in the Netflix original movie, Mascots, working alongside Fred Willard, Christopher Guest and Jane Lynch. She also still guest-stars frequently on various TV series.
Outside of acting, Yeagley co-founded the high school writing competition, The Leaky Pen, where the winner receives financial support.
