Tahmoh Penikett

Tahmoh Penikett is an actor known for his roles in science fiction television series, transitioning from early career work to lead roles in major productions. After his significant career milestone portraying Karl ‘Helo’ Agathon in SyFy’s 2004 television series Battlestar Galactica, Tahmoh Penikett established himself as a prominent actor in the science fiction genre. Initially conceived as a character for only the miniseries, Penikett’s compelling performance led to his role becoming central to the series’ narrative from 2004 to 2009. Prior to his breakthrough, Penikett honed his craft, graduating from the Victoria Motion Picture School and furthering his acting studies at the Lyric School of Acting in Vancouver.

Beyond his on-screen work, Penikett actively participates in charity efforts, notably auctioning a dinner with a Battlestar Galactica colleague to support the Babz Chula Lifeline for Artists Society.
