Taya Valkyrie

Taya Valkyrie, known from her prominent roles in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, Impact Wrestling, and All Elite Wrestling, is a Canadian professional wrestler with a career spanning over a decade. After establishing herself as a formidable competitor in Canadian promotions, Taya Valkyrie debuted in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide in November 2012, quickly rising to prominence within the ‘Los Perros del Mal’ stable. Valkyrie captured her first AAA Reina de Reinas Championship in August 2014 at Triplemanía XXII. This historic reign lasted 945 days, establishing a record for the longest in the title’s history.

Prior to her AAA success, Valkyrie had already demonstrated significant competitive prowess, placing 1st in the CBBF Canadian Championships in 2010 and 2nd in the Arnold Amateur in 2011. She honed her skills at the Storm Wrestling Academy, graduating in 2010. Valkyrie continued to build on her success with her debut in Impact Wrestling in September 2017. She quickly solidified her status as a top contender, winning the Impact Knockouts Championship in January 2019 at Homecoming.

Valkyrie further expanded her global reach with her debut in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in March 2023, where she continues to be a featured competitor. Most recently, she debuted in Ring of Honor (ROH) in December 2023 and entered the ROH Women’s World Television Championship tournament in February 2024. Expanding her international footprint, she formed ‘The Vendetta’ with Deonna Purrazzo in late 2024 and is slated for her debut in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in February 2025, further cementing her status as a globally recognized wrestling icon.
