Terrell Edmunds, born on January 20, 1997, in Danville, Virginia, is an accomplished Football safety currently playing for the Tennessee Titans in the National Football League (NFL). He honed his skills at Dan River High School in Ringgold, Virginia, before committing to play college football at Virginia Tech from 2015 to 2017.
In the 2018 NFL Draft, Terrell Edmunds was selected in the first round, 28th overall, by the Pittsburgh Steelers, launching his professional career. He spent his first four seasons with the Steelers, establishing himself as a reliable force in their defensive lineup. Edmunds’ prowess on the field earned him recognition, including a Third-team All-ACC selection in 2017 during his college tenure.
In 2023, Edmunds embarked on a new chapter, signing a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. However, his stint with the Eagles was short-lived, as he was later traded to the Tennessee Titans on October 23, 2023, as part of a deal that also involved draft picks.
Throughout his journey in the NFL, Terrell has demonstrated exceptional talent and versatility in the safety position, contributing significantly to the defensive strategies of his teams. Notably, his brothers Trey and Tremaine also shared his alma mater, Virginia Tech, and Tremaine, like Terrell, has made a mark in the NFL. The Edmunds brothers made history as the first set of siblings to be drafted in the first round of the same NFL draft. Terrell’s dedication to the game and his ability to excel at the professional level continue to solidify his status as a formidable force in Football.
