Terry Tauliaut

Terry Tauliaut is a celebrated figure in the global salsa community, highly regarded for his distinctive style, advanced footwork, fluid body movement, and intricate partner work. Partnered with Cécile Ovide, their combined presence has captivated audiences worldwide. Their performances are noted for their electrifying energy, creative lead, complex turn patterns, and fluid execution. The duo has achieved significant recognition on the global salsa circuit, and their shows are a fusion of various dance styles, including salsa, hip hop, contemporary, cha-cha, and afro-Cuban influences. Their social media presence is also substantial, driven by their engaging social dancing that highlights their creativity and musicality. As influential figures, they are regular attendees at major international Salsa festivals.

Terry Tauliaut began his salsa journey at 19 years old. Within four years, he secured the championship title in Guadeloupe. Following this, he moved to France and furthered his dance education at the Isis Figaro School of tropical Latin dances, where he eventually became a dance partner to the school’s founder, Isis Figaro. His career advanced when he joined the globally recognized U Tribe dance company. It was during this period that he formed his enduring partnership with Cécile Ovide.

Since establishing their partnership, Terry and Cécile have made a consistent impact through their dancing, teaching, and choreography internationally. In 2007, Terry Tauliaut co-founded the dance school “Salsalienza” with Cécile Ovide. They continue to instruct and perform at various international congresses and festivals, inspiring numerous dancers through their unique methodology and talent.
